Hey! I’m Daniel Lleonart AKA Danilleo Link to heading
I have finally decided to create a blog that I plan to use as a logbook. Mainly, my goal with this is to be able to expand my knowledge related to design and digital creation, but it will also be a place where I can publish my progress and personal notes.
Unfortunately, design is a professional field that requires you to be fully active and if you are not… you are out of the market. Creating this website can be an interesting way to keep myself active in certain areas of my interest, as well as to enhance other skills such as communication, which I have had on my “Things to improve” list for a long time. The best thing about all this is that if I can keep this project alive, in time one can look back and see a progression.
A bit late? Maybe, but better late than never. Creating a website with blog is an idea that I had in mind for quite some time, but my stubbornness in not using the great and powerful WordPress has made me invest some time in researching new technologies, reviewing things I had forgotten and, above all, comparing many alternatives.
And what has been my final choice? Well, I finally opted for Hugo, a framework that I didn’t know before. And why? Honestly because I’ve read interesting things about the Go programming language, and also because the mascot is a kind of horrible hamster that looks like it hasn’t slept for weeks. So this is the level one can find around here.
I have also used Hugo Coder, a theme by Luiz F. A. de Prá.
So, here we go.
